INEZ – An undercover drug investigation by Operation UNITE into illegal drug trafficking in Martin County has resulted in warrants for six individuals.

Four of the suspects, along with two others found to be in possession of drugs, were arrested September 3 by detectives from UNITE along with officers from the Martin County Sheriff’s Office and the Inez Police Department.

The investigation began in May and involved either the drugs Oxycodone or Suboxone.

Those arrested and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center were:

• Roy Kenneth Goble, 35, of Davis Branch, Inez, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance. He was additionally charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Amanda Hall, 26, East Eden Trailer Court, Inez, two counts first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

• Shannon Israel Hammon, 34, Rockcastle Road, Louisa, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Arnold McCoy, 38, of Milo Road on Spence Branch in Tomahawk, two counts each of first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and persistent felony offender.

• Jamie Jude, 29, of Davis Branch, Inez, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Tommy Messer, 31, of Eden Trailer Court, Inez, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Hammon and Jude were arrested after detectives discovered Oxycodone, a syringe and a soda can containing OxyContin when they went to Goble’s residence to serve the warrant.
