Clean Your Medicine Cabinet Out Day
Bath County citizens brought 56,826 pills for destruction during a free “Clean Your Medicine Cabinet Out Day” program March 23, obliterating the previous record set last fall. The unwanted, unused and out-of-date medications were destroyed by UNITE’s “Pill Dragon” – a mobile incinerator. Don’t be an “Accidental Dealer” by allowing your medications to stolen or misused, and please don’t flush your medicines down the toilet or dispose of them in the trash. The Pill Dragon is sponsored by Operation UNITE, PRIDE and the Kentucky Army National Guard. For more information contact UNITE at 1-866-678-6483 or visit the “Pill Dragon” page on the website.
