Break the Bonds of Addiction
Are you or someone close to you struggling with addiction? There is HOPE! “Break the Bonds of Addiction” is a free workshop that focuses on finding local resources to help deal with this growing problem. The workshop begins at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 120, at the BSACAP Service Office, 131 Church Street, Salyersville, and is presented by the Big Sandy Area Community Action Program. Clean Your Medicine Cabinet Out Day
Magoffin residents brought in 25,548 pills for destruction at a free “Clean Your Medicine Cabinet Out Day” event held August 31. The unwanted, unused or out-of-date medications were fed to UNITE’s “Pill Dragon” – a mobile incinerator. Recovery Rally
More than 225 community members, most of them youth, participated in the Recovery March and Rally held September 8.

REACH support group
