After multiple unsuccessful attempts to treat his substance abuse disorder, Don McClelland went to Lane House on a UNITE voucher and has been sober since 2009. Upon completion, he relocated his family to the Manchester area.
Don has a degree from Sullivan Culinary in Louisville, and he put it use helping Chad’s Hope with its nutritional needs and helping it cater different events. He also ran the kitchen at a local restaurant.
Don and his family remained in Manchester three years and then moved back to his hometown of Louisa, Ky. He was soon hired by Ashland Oil Inc. and works as its corporate chef.
