Prevention Programs Coordinator

Operation UNITE (Unlawful Narcotics Investigations, Treatment and Education, Inc.) is seeking a full-time Prevention Programs Coordinator. Application deadline is Friday, July 22, 2022.

Duties

Position duties & responsibilities include:

  • Provide prevention education and training on the use of Naloxone
  • Facilitate increased access to Naloxone within UNITE’s 32-county service region
  • Implement new prevention programs dealing with trending topics related to substance use/misuse
  • Provide prevention training on opioids, synthetic opioids (such as Fentanyl), and other drugs for UNITE staff and community partners
  • Provide annual report demonstrating impact of prevention programs
  • Requires extensive travel throughout service region
  • Participate in regularly-scheduled team meetings

Hours

  • 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
  • Availability for evening events and activities, as needed
  • Availability for weekend events and activities, as needed

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree and/or equivalent experience working with public service organizations
  • Must possess a working knowledge of MS Word, word processing, and spreadsheet skills
  • Valid Kentucky driver’s license
  • Must pass a background check

KORE Accounts Payable Specialist

Operation UNITE (Unlawful Narcotics Investigations, Treatment and Education, Inc.) is seeking a full-time Accounts Payable Specialist for its KORE (Kentucky Opioid Response Effort) program. Application deadline is Friday, July 22, 2022.

Duties

Position duties & responsibilities include:

  • Receive and verify invoices for KORE program reimbursements
  • Prepare and maintain client data in Accounts Payable software and/or Excel spread sheet
  • Prepare monthly KORE billing and reimbursements
  • Maintain a positive relationship with facilities and billing departments.
  • Participate in monthly KORE team meetings
  • Cross-train for UNITE Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll

Hours

  • 8 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday
  • Location is UNITE’s financial office at The Center for Rural Development in Somerset, KY

Qualifications

  • Post-secondary degree or training in accounting or related field, and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Must possess a working knowledge of MS Word & Excel.
  • Must pass a background check
