From camper to counselor – and now college bound – David* has been involved in Operation UNITE programs for years. David graduated with a 3.8 GPA, was class president multiple years, played three varsity sports and was a member of the academic team. He’s going on to college with a UNITE scholarship.

Like David, many children have a parent who is not in the home because of substance abuse, prison or both. That makes UNITE’s efforts even more important.

Our education programs and activities introduce children to a life without drugs. Some initiatives are geared to help children avoid the dangers of the streets, but, for many, the danger is much closer – it is at home. UNITE has shown more than 100,000 children a different path.
