The UNITE Hope Wall was featured during a kick-off luncheon for Citizens Attacking Addiction held at the University Club at the University of Louisville on October 23, 2019.

Guest speaker was Russell M. Coleman, U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Kentucky, who called Operation UNITE “a gold standard” for addressing the drug crisis in Kentucky. Coleman noted the Hope Wall was a perfect way to inform people that recovery may be “a long, hard, arduous process, but it does work.”

“The margin of error is so small” in balancing efforts to address addiction and recovery that “we must have collaboration,” Coleman said.
