STANFORD — Following a rainy morning, the sky cleared up for the Lincoln County UNITE Coalition’s Hooked On Fishing-Not On Drugs event at Cedar Creek Lake on Thursday, April 30, 2024.
The event drew approximately 100 youth and more than double that number of parents, siblings and volunteers — including members of the Lincoln County High School UNITE Club and fishing team.
HOFNOD winners were:
- Most fish caught – Chloe Kessinger
- Biggest fish caught – Jackson Britton
- Drawing – Colton Boyton
Free hotdogs, water and chips were available, and representatives from Ephraim McDowell Fort Logan Hospital in Stanford provide gift bags to attendees.
